Price Filter Slider

Price Filter Slider allows your customers to filter products in category according to price using jQuery UI Slider element. Products are loaded in background using Ajax technology. Sorting and changing page of results are converted to Ajax too.

Installation​

Always backup your files and database before installing any modification to prevent loosing your data!

1. Choose directory corresponding to your OpenCart version.
2. Upload files from directory new into root direcotory of your OpenCart installation via FTP client
   • no files will be overwritten unless you have added files with same filename
3. Update OpenCart files. There are three ways to do this:
   • use vQmod
     • upload file PriceFilterSlider.xml into vqmod xml directory
     • not available for version 1.4.9.6
   • overwrite files
     • copy files from directory changed to your OpenCart root directory via FTP client and let it overwrite existing files
     • use this method only if you have not altered any of files listed below
   • alter files manually
     • go through all files in directory changed and make corresponding changes in files of your OpenCart installation
     • added, changed or deleted files are marked with text // PRICE_FILTER_SLIDER
4. If you use custom temlate, alter its files
   • extension comes with default template files altered only
5. Change template of jQuery UI elements to fit your template better

• catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-ui-slider.js (1.4.9.X only)

Altered files

• catalog/controller/product/category.php
• catalog/model/catalog/product.php
• catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/category.tpl
