Product Price Groups + Discounts

Product Price Groups + Discounts allows you to create multiple price groups with name and code. Every product can be then be assigned to certain price group. Along with price group you can create several discounts. In customer administration you can set which discount will be applied to every price group for selected customer. Discounts are by default applied to normal product price and option prices. You can allow them to be applied to specials and/or discounts in main store settings.

Installation​

Always backup your files and database before installing any modification to prevent loosing your data!

1. Choose directory corresponding to your OpenCart version
2. Upload file install.php into root directory of your OpenCart e-shop.
3. In your browser go to page http://<YOUR STORE URL>/install.php. If everything goes well you will see text message about successfull instalation.
4. Upload files from directory new into root directory of your OpenCart installation via FTP client
   • no files will be overwritten unless you have installed extension with the same filename
5. Update OpenCart files. There are two ways to do this:
   • use vQmod
     • upload file PriceGroupDiscount.xml into vqmod xml directory
   • alter files manually
     • go through all changes described in PriceGroupDiscount.xml and make corresponding changes in files of your OpenCart installation
6. Add texts into your language files
   • extension comes with czech and english language files only. Phrases for any other language need to be added manually
