Send PDF Invoice

Send PDF Invoice sends default HTML invoice converted to PDF format to customer. You can set when the invoice will be set - right after order confirmation (invoice will be attached to order confirmation mail), when the order status is changed to the one that means order is complete (invoice will be attached to the notification mail - checkbox to notify customer has to be checked) or only after clicking button in order administration. Invoice can be sent whenever by clicking button in order view in administration.

Installation​

Always backup your files and database before installing any modification to prevent loosing your data!

1. Choose directory corresponding to your OpenCart version
2. Upload files from directory new into root directory of your OpenCart installation via FTP client
   • no files will be overwritten unless you have already library TCPDF on your server
3. Update OpenCart files. There are two ways to do this:
   • use vQmod
     • upload file SendPDFInvoice.xml into vqmod xml directory
   • alter files manually
     • go through vQmod file and make corresponding changes in files of your OpenCart installation
4. Add texts into your language files
   • extension comes with english language files only. Texts for any other language need to be added manually
5. If you have modified HTML version of invoice, try to generate invoice and search for errors
   • extension is designed for default HTML version of invoice
