Watermark Extra

Watermark allows you to choose watermark for images of products, categories, manufacturers, banners, etc. You can choose position and size of watermark relatively to underlying image and exclude images in certain directories from being watermarked.

NEW: Added possibility to restrict watermark application onto small images (OC 1.5.5.x and 1.5.4.x version only)

Installation​

Always backup your files and database before installing any modification to prevent loosing your data!

1. Choose directory corresponding to your OpenCart version
2. Update OpenCart files. There are three ways to do this:
   • use vQmod
     • upload file Watermark.xml into vqmod xml directory
   • overwrite files
     • copy files from directory changed to your OpenCart root directory via FTP client and let it overwrite existing files
     • use this method only if you have not altered any of files listed below
   • alter files manually
     • go through all files in directory changed and make corresponding changes in files of your OpenCart installation
     • added, changed or deleted files are marked with text // WATERMARK
3. Add texts into your language files
   • extension comes with english language files only. Texts for any other language need to be added manually

• admin/controller/setting/setting.php
• admin/language/english/setting/setting.php
• admin/view/template/setting/setting.tpl
• catalog/model/tool/image.php
• system/library/image.php

Additional Notes

You have to clear cache folder whenever you change watermark image for changes to take effect.
