Language Code In URL

Language Code In URL adds language code so http://example.com/some-url will become http://example.com/en/some-url for english and http://example.com/de/some-url for german. Language code will be automatically set according to language code in URL, so you can post links to specific language mutation of your store.

Note: You dont have to use seo URLs, but .htaccess has to be set!

Installation​

Always backup your files and database before installing any modification to prevent loosing your data!

1. Choose directory corresponding to your OpenCart version
2. Update OpenCart files. There are three ways to do this:
   • use vQmod
     • upload file LanguageCodeInURL.xml into vqmod xml directory
   • alter files manually
     • go through all changes described in  LanguageCodeInURL.xml and make corresponding changes in your OpenCart files
